Abstract
The Armenian world is rich in talent, experience, and commitment. Yet despite these strengths, we lack the leadership frameworks needed to unite our collective potential.
What is missing is a form of leadership that rises above divisions, earns broad public trust, fosters cooperation among institutions, and articulates a clear, long-term vision—one capable of shaping generations of successful and influential Armenians on the global stage, while contributing to the building of a strong and prosperous nation.
In this keynote, we propose an independent initiative to address this challenge through a three-step approach:
1. Develop Leadership
Conceive a Council of the Wise—a body of respected, independent individuals serving as a strategic and moral compass for the Armenian world. While holding no political or executive authority, the Council would enjoy public trust and assume responsibility for defining a long-term vision and guiding the implementation of the following two steps.
2. Address the Structural and Resource Gap
Encourage the emergence of grassroots community structures, working in cooperation with existing institutions, to better coordinate efforts and enhance educational, social, cultural, and economic development across Armenian communities worldwide.
3. Reveal Our Resources and Collective Strength
Through Armenopedia, identify and map the vast resources, talents, competencies, and networks of Armenians globally—creating a shared and reliable knowledge base to foster collaboration, synergy, and collective impact.
