Presenter: Capt. John Greenwood, 6th Middlesex Regiment of Massachusetts
On April 19, 1775, a farmer in Massachusetts Bay Colony lived a life that blended family responsibilities, daily agricultural work, local political obligations, and the looming threat of war.
Capt. Greenwood will reflect on the ordinary rhythms of farm life and how their lives intersected with the extraordinary events of the American Revolution.
The 6th Middlesex County Regiment stands as a proud bastion of history and community service in the heart of Massachusetts. For nearly 25 years, our volunteer-driven organization has brought the Spirit of the American Revolution to life, reenacting our local community’s history.
