Author Victoria Atamian Waterman shares her journey of creating Who She Left Behind, a historical fiction novel inspired by her Armenian heritage, family stories, and a deep connection to the past. She will discuss her choice to use dolls to preserve poignant moments while telling the stories of girls and women during the genocide, highlighting the power of healing. Through her research, she explored Armenian folklore and traditions, which she will present during her discussion. As a special treat, she will display her collection of Armenian dolls for everyone to see. Additionally, she will be available to answer readers' questions about her first novel, Who She Left Behind.
