The renowned Aznavoorian sisters Ani, cello, and Marta, piano perform the concert premiere of their new CD "Gems from Armenia," being released by Cedille Records.
Spanning the time from Komitas to (Serouj) Kradjian, Gems from Armenia voices a range of emotions telling the story of the Armenian people across three time periods. The concert includes works by Komitas, Arutunian, Khachaturian, Terterian, Babajanian, Serouj Kradjian, Vache Sharafyan, and Peter Boyer.
Artists' reception hosted by AGBU/Chicago following performance (tentative)
