The performance is accompanied by live music by VANAKAN
The Babylon Show speaks about the eternal human struggle with destiny — from the creation of the world to the present day, from Cain and Abel to Mozart and Salieri.
It reflects humanity’s constant attempt to establish justice on earth, often going against the will or decisions of Heaven (God).
The performance opens with a prayer from Saint Grigor Narekatsi’s Book of Lamentations.
It resembles a ritual of purification before immersing into the stories of envy, fratricide, and war — wars that never cease throughout human history.
