About the Film

Tevanik is a poetic and deeply human film about the consequences of war — about interrupted childhood, fractured families, regret, and the rediscovery of human values.

Structured in three chapters, the story unfolds through the perspectives of adolescents coming of age in a landscape torn apart by war:

Aram – The Sonnet
A harmonious family is separated by conflict. In a single day, Aram’s childhood ends.

Astghik – The Elegy
Through Astghik’s perspective, we witness how peace turns into war in an instant — friendship, love, and hope vanish overnight.

Tevanik – The Story
Fourteen-year-old Tevanik becomes part of war activities. One decisive moment changes the course of his life.
