Annual AGBU Dromana Picnic

We are delighted to invite you and your families to our Annual AGBU Picnic, a much-loved tradition in our community.
The picnic will be held on Sunday, 1 February 2026, at the Dromana Foreshore, by the beach — the same location we usually gather at. The site is conveniently located next to the pier, directly opposite the IGA supermarket.
This beautiful setting offers something for everyone, with access to shade and sunshine, sand and grassed areas, a playground, walking tracks, running water, and a short stroll to boutique shops, ice-cream parlours, and coffee spots. Whether you choose to relax in the shade or enjoy a swim, it promises to be a wonderful day for all ages.
The picnic will begin from 10am. Lunch will be provided between 12-12.30pm and will include our much-loved chicken and chips, along with a selection of delicious salads and soft drinks.
Ample parking is available at the nearby shopping centre car park and surrounding streets. Please be mindful of local parking restrictions.
We kindly ask attendees to bring their own folding chairs and tables, as there is limited fixed seating at the site.
Please note that this picnic area has become increasingly popular with other groups, making it more challenging to secure undercover picnic spots. While we will do our best to reserve suitable areas, we cannot guarantee coverage. For this reason, we strongly encourage those planning to attend to arrive as early as possible so we can collectively secure the space we need.
