Khor Virap -
Khor Virap Monastery is the cradle of Christianity in Armenia. You will find yourself in a monastery-fortress, 40 km from Yerevan and less than a kilometer from the border. From here, you will enjoy a stunning panoramic view of Mount Ararat.
Areni Cave. The oldest winery has a history of over 5,000 years. Archaeologists also discovered the oldest shoe in the world here.
Wine Tasting and Lunch
In a village where the indigenous Areni and Voskehat grape varieties grow, you'll sample several varieties of wine: homemade from locals, young sparkling wine in season, and wines from authentic cellars.
Noravank. We'll head through a winding gorge with sheer red cliffs to the 12th-century monastery. You'll ascend to a picturesque plateau and admire the Martian landscape of red rocks. A great place for photos! If you're lucky, we might even spot the endangered Bezoar goat.
