AMAC warmly invites you to an evening of reflection and learning as we come together to commemorate the Armenian Genocide.

This meaningful lecture will explore Armenia’s 3000-year journey, highlighting the enduring strength of its Christian identity and the vital role of the Armenian Church in shaping the nation’s spiritual life, cultural heritage, and resilience through centuries of challenge and renewal.

We are honored to welcome Rev. Dr. René Léonian—an esteemed historian, theologian, and author. He holds a Doctorate in Theology and advanced degrees in education and social sciences, and currently serves as Chair of Armenology at the Catholic University of Lyon. Over the years, he has taught, written, and lectured extensively on Armenian history, theology, and the development of the Armenian Evangelical Church, while also serving in pastoral and leadership roles across Europe, Armenia and beyond.

Through this lecture, Rev. Dr. Léonian will help us draw meaningful lessons from the past—offering insight, perspective, and hope as we look toward the future. We look forward to welcoming you to this enriching and thought-provoking evening.

The seminar will be given in Armenian. Questions can be asked in English or French.

Participants can speak with the speaker during refreshments, following the seminar.
