Synopsis:
Anush is a young Armenian woman who travels to Brazil without a return ticket. Once she is welcomed and inserted into the Armenian community in São Paulo, her biggest challenge is to adapt to the large and cosmopolitan city, so far from her roots.
Tatiana Boudakian graduated in Social Communication and Marketing in 2014 and completed her post-graduation in Audiovisual Production Design in 2018. In 2015, after spending six months in Armenia through the Birthright Program, she started working in photography and cinematography. Upon returning to São Paulo, she served as the Communication Coordinator for two NGOs: the Família Barrichello Institute, founded by Formula 1 speed racer Rubinho Barrichello, and the Passe de Mágica Institute, created by basketball player Magic Paula. Following that, she worked at Vix Brasil, a production and movie platform, as a filmmaker for different brands and products. In addition to her formal work, Tatiana always engages in artistic and personal projects. She has participated in several short films, ranging from documentaries to fictional stories. She has served as the director's assistant and production design coordinator for "A Outra" (2022) and "Algo sobre Ilda" (2023), both directed by Gary Gananian. She has also worked as the director of photography and editor for "Laura" (2018), directed by Isabela Tortato, and as the director and producer for "Avesso" (2019), "Cantinho" (2019), "Depois que acordo" (2020), and the documentary "Musicando" (2019). Currently, she is exhibiting her own Armenian film titled "Dehatsi - Eu era outro lugar" in several festivals around the world.
