Hrant Dink’s Memory Drives Action: Sorrow Turns to Hope.

In this 13th year since the tragic death of Hrant Dink whose name has become synonymous with human rights worldwide, the Armenian Institute invites you once again to remember his life and outstanding achievements.

We focus on the inspired work of the Hrant Dink Foundation for understanding and peace in ambitious youth programmes, publications, conferences, study projects. Hrant Dink's Agos offices in Istanbul were transformed into a Site of Memory in June 2019.

Nayat Karoköse, Programme Coordinator, will update us on the specially designed spaces where all are welcome to share in the story of Hrant’s life and legacy, nurturing dialogue, research and social transformation in human rights.

Huberta von Voss Wittig, Director of the Institute for Strategic Dialogue Germany, will read from her interview with Hrant Dink included in her book, Portraits of Hope, Armenians in the Contemporary World.
