Over the last 110 years, the recognition of the Armenian Genocide has ebbed and flowed throughout international discourse, yet its importance and significance to how States consider their response to genocide has remained impactful. The horrors of the Armenian genocide can still be felt today in different contexts around the world.
This short interactive dialogue will explore the contributions of the Armenian Genocide to policy and scholarship relating to human rights, genocide, religious freedom, and other important issues. Further, the conference will explore comparisons with other genocides, whether they have been forgotten from memory or are continuing today.
The event is free to attend, but registration is required. Registration link can be found here.
