The AREV Film Series is the premiere initiative of the newly-established Kazarian AGBU Chicago Armenian Humanities Festival, made possible through the generosity of the late AGBU Chicago Board member Mary Kazarian, whose bequest remains a lasting legacy to her hometown and deep personal commitment to her Armenian heritage.
Amerikatsi, directed by Michael A. Goorjian, follows Charlie, an Armenian-American citizen who repatriates to Armenia only to end up in a Soviet prison.
