The AREV Film Series is the premiere initiative of the newly-established Kazarian AGBU Chicago Armenian Humanities Festival, made possible through the generosity of the late AGBU Chicago Board member Mary Kazarian, whose bequest remains a lasting legacy to her hometown and deep personal commitment to her Armenian heritage.
Tezeta, directed by Aramatz Kalayjian, follows a small, country-less community of Armenian orphans who form a band and forge the roots of Ethiopian jazz.
