Speaker: Alison Wharton-Dungaryan

Senior Lecturer in the School of History and Heritage at the University of Lincoln. She completed her PhD in 2012 at SOAS, London. In 2015 she published a book titled: Architects of Ottoman Constantinople: the Balyan Family and the History of Ottoman Architecture (IB Tauris, 2015). She is currently working on her second book on Armenian architects in the eastern provinces of the empire in the Hamidian era.
