FLAG DAY RUMMAGE SALE TO BENEFIT BUILDING PROGRAM AT CLOVIS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
A Clovis Elementary school will close out the academic year with a Flag Day rummage sale to benefit the building program of the institution.
The Charlie Keyan Armenian Community School of Clovis (CKACS) will hold a Huge Rummage Sale & Unique Boutique on Saturday, June 14, 2025 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. The sale will take place at the CKACS Campus at 108 North Villa Avenue, between Sierra and Herndon Avenues on the edge of Old Town Clovis.
The Sale will feature Fabulous Finds in clothing for all ages, shoe apparel, purses, books and media, toys, housewares, furniture, and more.
Members and Friends of the Daughters of Vartan Fresno Chapter (also known as the Alidz Otyag) will conduct the sale. The Daughters of Vartan is an Armenian Sisterhood associated with the Knights of Vartan, a 109-year-old Armenian fraternal service organization that encourages members to assume leadership roles in cultural, educational, religious, and charitable organizations and activities for the betterment of the Armenian nation worldwide.
Founded in 1977, CKACS provides an exceptional education to Central California youth while teaching Armenian language and culture and instilling the foundations of good, productive citizenship in the United States and in the global community. Hoori Kalamkarian is President of the CKACS School Board and Nyree Shishmanian is the CKACS Principal.
