We are delighted to introduce Dr. Araxie Altounian's 10th guest on the AGBU Musical Minds series, renowned pianist-musicologist Şahan Arzruni who is presently touring with his new program dedicated to Armenian women composers and who will present a lecture/recital in Toronto on September 28.

Mr. Arzruni’s career as a pianist, lecturer, and author spans more than five decades with a strong emphasis on the promotion and dissemination of Armenian classical music which has led him to collaborate with several composers such as Aram Khachaturian, Alan Hovhaness, Sirvart Karamanoug, Koharik Gazarossian, Alicia Terzian, Mary Kouyoumdjian, among others.
