A Father’s Day western round-up party will kick off the summer Christian education program at California’s oldest Armenian Church.
The weeklong Wonder Junction Vacation Bible School will start on June 15 with western food, games, and mechanical bull riding from 12 to 2 p.m. at Fresno’s First Armenian Presbyterian Church, 430 South First Street at Historic Huntington Boulevard.
The Sunday round-up party will lead into a week of Vacation Bible School for children from ages 4 through 12. The VBS will take place on the Church Campus from 9 a.m. to noon on June 16 through 20. Registration information is available by visiting www.fapc.net or calling (559) 237-6638.
Based on the curriculum of Answers VBS, Wonder Junction features High Point Bible Time lessons, Sweet Sadie’s snacks, Gallopin’ Gabes games, Carpenter Joe’s science and crafts, and Miss Millie’s music and verses, all presented with a memorable western motif .
Wonder Junction Vacation Bible School is a project of the FAPC Children’s Ministries program. Reverend Gregory V. Haroutunian is the Senior Pastor and Nataly Wairdian is the Children’s Ministry Director.
