Composer and pianist Kristina Arakelyan performs a diverse range of music including the great masters – J.S. Bach, Claude Debussy and Clara Schumann – alongside music from her debut piano album, Dreamland. Kristina will play transcriptions of her chamber opera Five Penelope Studies to open and close the concert, pairing her work with her musical idols such as J.S. Bach (Chromatic Fantasy) and Olivier Messiaen (Prelude no. 1).
