Lucy Khanyan is a pianist, composer, who composes and plays a fusion of
contemporary Armenian avant-garde folk and world elements incorporating
impressionistic, surreal colors and multi instrumental approach . She is exploring new and unconventional approaches to creating music that blends elements of folk music with avant-garde techniques.
In her homeland, Lucy Khanyan founded several projects, the main ones
being the Lucy Khanyan Ethno Jazz Trio (bass, drums, keys) and the Lucy Khanyan Avant Garde
Folk Orchestra consisting of Piano, Kanon, Blul, Drums and percussion, Bass.
