An evening of concerts featuring Armenian folk songs and spiritual sounds awaits the audience as percussionist Burag Mesrobyan and duduk player Aram Ipekjian perform together.
Aram Ipekjian, who has been living and performing in Vienna for some time, is a master of the duduk—an oboe-like instrument of Armenian origin made from apricot wood, known for its mild and melancholy sound. Burag Mesrobyan, a passionate world musician and percussionist, plays the darbuka, frame drums, and cajón in various ensembles and can be heard on recordings and film scores.
