For Armenians around the world, Mount Ararat is far more than a mountain. It is the ultimate symbol of our identity, our resilience, and our ancestral heritage. While looking toward its peak from afar is deeply emotional, standing on its summit is a life changing experience.
Join us for an inspiring storytelling night and visual presentation as five Armenian mountaineers take the stage. Through live narration, photo slideshows, and expedition statistics, they will share their personal journeys, adventures, and the unforgettable feelings of reaching the summit of Ararat.
Meet Our Climbers:
- Nazo Jerejian: Editor in Chief of the Ararad daily newsletter and former Principal of Sahagian-L. Meguerditchian College in Beirut, Lebanon. A seasoned mountaineer who has climbed Ararat three separate times in 2014, 2015, and 2019.
- AGBU Young Professionals of Sydney 2025 Summiteers: Patil Hovagim, Aren Kurumlian, Barouyr Kurumlian, and Hagop Keoroghlanyan, who took on this incredible challenge last year.
