The lecture examines how Christian communities in the Middle East have historically and actively contributed to education, healthcare, and social cohesion in a region often marked by conflict and diversity. It highlights the unique role of Christian institutions, including the Armenian institutions and Haigazian University, in fostering tolerance and dialogue, providing quality education, and addressing social problems, thereby acting as bridges between different cultures, religions, and communities. Through a critical lens, the lecture explores both the challenges and opportunities faced by these communities in their mission to promote peace and understanding in today’s complex regional and global contexts.
