For the first time Iraqi born, British-Armenian emerging artist Neshan Minassian presents his work in London. Exploring how the threads of intergenerational joy, pain and connection weave together to create a dream-like nostalgia and homesickness for times and places never visited, the exhibition gar chgar (there was, and there was not) is due to run from the 18th to the 21st of July (10am to 5pm).
Neshan Minassian is a contemporary artist based in London. His art explores and weaves together multiple layers of personal and cultural identity. He uses colour, texture, and form inspired by his heritage to evoke a desire to return to a distant yet unforgettable time.
