Towards the end of 2020 and into 2021, following the Second Karabakh War, the inhabitants of the province of Syunik in southern Armenian unexpectedly found themselves facing new borders with Azerbaijan. Flowing from fieldwork conducted in the autumn of 2021, Dr. Nareg Seferian will present the changing dynamics of Syunik and Armenia as they navigate through the trauma and shock of the Second Karabakh war (2020) and its aftermath.
